Description:

Job Role -

  • Required to work within a dedicated team responsible for fabrication and welding of mild steel components used to manufacture work platform structures, working in an environment of continuous improvement
  • Apprentice will gain experience of fabrication, with and without the use of fixtures and jigs, and welding using MMA, MIG, and TIG, and also automated welding using robotics and plasma seam welding system
  • Training will follow the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship program which will last 3 years resulting in a City and Guilds qualification to NVQ level 3.

Additional Informations

Holidays:  25 days flexible plus statutory, 1 extra day per year every 5 years service.

Company sponsored personal pension plan: The Company sponsors a personal pension, it contributes 4% of salary providing the contribution is matched or exceeded by the employee (however with current tax relief the minimum cost to the employee is 3.12%)*

Death in service benefit: Payable to next of kin.*

Criteria Requirments:

Preferred minimum qualifications: GCSE grade C or above in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent)
