METTECH students shine
The AMRC Training Centre is proud to announce that the first cohort of students on the Metals Technology Certificate (METTECH) have all completed the course, with every one of them passing with a distinction. Candidates on the METTECH course represented a diverse range of companies including Exova and Bodycote.
One of the students, Tom Bishop of Exova said: I am extremely pleased to say I passed the METTECH certificate with a distinction overall. The quality of the teaching was excellent and the course content was very relevant to my current role. I am keen to continue my professional development by studying further qualifications with the AMRC Training Centre.
This view was echoed by Glen Jakeway from Bodycote whose employer was delighted with his success and who is also now looking in to studying further professional qualifications with the AMRC Training Centre.
Graham Small, technical CPD manager at the AMRC Training Centre said: It really is a testament to the quality of the training we offer here that every student in this class passed their METTECH certificate with a distinction. I look forward to the continued success of this course.
METTECH is a coordinated programme of training courses intended primarily for technical staff who are routinely involved in the processing or testing of metals-based products. It is also suitable as technical background for staff in engineering and commercial functions.
