Work Experience

Work experience provides many benefits, giving you skills and experience that will allow you to stand out to potential employers as well as helping you choose the right sector to work in.

There are many different types of work experience opportunities out there, each suited to specific stages in your education or early career. These include work shadowing, internships, voluntary work, placements and gap years.

Prospective employers look favourably on the effort taken by those who have done work experience and can give them the extra edge over their peers.
